help raise funds for the Old Gaol. September sees the start of Buckingham Heritage Trust's 25th anniversary events.

Children's Activities: Craft
Our craft table will be available, make whatever you like! Admission: Child - £1.50 if Friend/Trust member.
£3 if not. One adult free with each child. No unaccompanied children please. Call in anytime between the hours shown.

Free Opening of Buckingham Old Gaol
As part of the European Heritage Open Days, Buckingham Old Gaol and Museum will be open free until 1pm.
Refreshments available. Gift shop and second hand bookstore open.

Free Walk & Talk about Gilbert Scott
As part of Heritage Open Days, a walk and talk by local historian Ed Grimsdale.
Starting at Buckingham Old Gaol, one of Scott's first commissions, and taking in other sites connected with
Buckingham's greatest architect including the Parish Church. Max of 20 people, starting and finishing at the
Old Gaol Museum. Bookings in advance at the Tourist Information Centre.

Trust Talk: The Crown in Buckinghamshire Today
A talk by Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher, the Lord-Lieutenant for Buckinghamshire. Sir Henry will launch the programme
of events to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Buckingham Heritage Trust. After refreshments various treasures of the
Buckingham Old Gaol Museum (previously unseen) will be available for guests to admire and enjoy, including 19th c.

Trust Talk: Treasure Your Past
An illustrated talk by Ros Tyrrell, Finds Liaison Officer, Bucks County Museum. Bring your own treasures to Buckingham
Old Gaol for identification by Ros and her team of metal detectorists (with kit!).
