Fellows Morton & Clayton Letterhead

This rather grand letterhead of Fellows Morton & Clayton although not directly related to the Buckingham section just had to be included for it's elegance and style. I like to think that they may be referring to the windmills supplied by E&H Roberts Ltd. In 1905 they were the canal carriers of the time who had expanded the business to include the carriage of goods by rail and the building of boats. To me it shows how proud they must have been of their company and branches, and this letter is just a memo.

Blisworth.

Dear sir,

When at Nottingham yesterday, I went into the Bath & West of England Show, and found there were about a dozen wind-mills at work. Apparently the cheapest, of a good variety, is the one of which I enclose a sketch. There were cards on the tower, showing that orders for no less than six had been booked at the show.

This may interest you.

Yours truly
