National Waterways Festival, Milton Keynes

National Waterways Festival: help please! The society will have a stand at this year's festival at Milton Keynes and as usual any time that you can spare to man the stand would be much appreciated, please contact Athena Beckett on 01908 661217 if you are able to help.

SEPTEMBER: Sat 8th & Sun 9th:
National Heritage Open Weekend: BCS display at the Chantry Chapel Buckingham. Towpath walk on the Sunday, meet at the Chantry Chapel Market Hill 11am for accompanied walk to Thornton. Minibus available for return at Leckhampstead (which is about halfway) and at Thornton. Arriving Thornton approx 1pm.

SEPTEMBER: Thursday 20th at 8pm
Social Event at Maids Moreton Village Hall: a presentation by Steve Miles
