Rally helpers 2003The annual rally is a welcome source of funds to the Society and because the work load of the committee is increasing as we grow, it would be very helpful if we could have up to four volunteers to organise next year's rally. With this help started early in the year it should not be too time consuming for those involved and would release time for committee members to take advantage of some of the courses available. Those willing to help please contact Bill Upton on 01908 647317Fundraising As we have made good progress with clearance work both at Cosgrove and Buckingham, the need to raise awareness of the Society and to increase funds for the next stage is going to be very important to us. If you have fundraising skills - or you would like training on one of the free courses available so you can help us - please contact Bill Upton 01908 647317 BCS display at Middleton Hall & MK Library At rather short notice from the MK centre organisers, the Milton Keynes Heritage Association was able to put on an Exhibition in Middleton Hall from 30th Aug to lst Sept, then at MK Library for a further two weeks. The display panels for the BCS/ MKHA had been prepared some time earlier by those of us involved and according to all accounts much interest was show by the public. Our thanks to Helene Hill for assisting over the weekend by handing out leaflets and answering question about the canal inbetween what she was really there for - which was to represent the Buckingham Old Gaol, which had a stand next to ours.
