Friends of the Museum

The Friends of the Cowper and Newton Museum exist to support the Trustees and House Manager in the running of the Museum, and to raise funds which assist the Museum in all its activities. For example the purchase and/or renovation of artefacts in the collection; and to help with capital projects such as redecoration and up-dating of the Museum.

The Friends have over 200 members and are growing all the time. We have coffee mornings over the summer in the courtyard, quiz evenings and many other fund raising events to which all are welcome.

Annual membership is £6.00 for an individual, £10.00 for a couple in the UK, £12.00 per person for our overseas Friends.

Membership entitles you to free entrance and reduced entrance on Museum special event days, the gardens, the thrice-yearly Newsletter, and a free copy of The Cowper and Newton Journal.
