is our space for individuals, community groups and societies to hold exhibitions of paintings, sketches and photographs. We also host some touring or special exhibitions, for example for Black History month in October. Exhibitions are for a calendar month and are open from March to December during Museum hours : Tue-Sat, 10.30-16.30 (apart from one re-hanging day each month). A small charge is made to cover running cost and if the exhibitor makes sales, an agreed commission is taken by the Museum. The Gallery begins taking bookings in May for exhibitions to be held the following year and is very popular! |
