North side, Here / rest the remains of / William Kitelee a native of this town / he first married Elizabeth daughter of John & Martha Perrott / by whom he had 7 children. His second wife was Phebe / relict of Marmaduke Howe by whom he had no issue / He died April 15th 1760 in the 70th year of his age / His surviving children John Kitelee, Elizabeth Kitelee, Mary Bellis, & Catharine Atkins erect this monument / to the memory of too good a friend.
