Cottage fire, in the early twentieth century The date of this fire, is as yet unknown. It is believed to have been sometime during the First World War.

The place seems to be where the cottages stood behind Pretoria Terrace in South Street.

The chimneys of Manor Farm can be seen between the man on the wall of the cottage and the ladder, the chimneys of The Maltings to the right of the photograph.
