| The Wolverton Express August 22nd. 1969 BARBEQUE BRINGS IN £172
A barbeque held at Maltings Farm, Castlethorpe, last Friday evening was jointly organised by the committee of the village hall and SS Simon and Jude Church. The total of £172 12s raised , is to be divided between the two organisations, for restoration work on the church and extensions and alterations to the village hall. About 200 people enjoyed food tombola and dancing to Joe Stamford’s band. |
