At a monthly meeting of the Castlethorpe Women’s Institute, Mrs. B. Stephens (vice-president) presided. A jumble sale was arranged for October 18.
After the usual business, Miss Brown put members in great spirit with her percussion band. She was thanked by Miss A. Manning.
The competition for a hot water bottle cover was won by Mrs. Mothersole, 2 Mrs. J. Robinson.
The social was organised by Mrs. A. Cowley, and won by Mrs. Stacey and Mrs. Mothersole.
