CASTLETHORPE CRICKET CLUB

The annual general meeting of the Castlethorpe Cricket Club was held in the Carrington Hall on Thursday 3rd April with Mr. L. Robinson presiding over a good attendance.

The Treasurer reported the club to be in a good sound financial position with a balance in hand of £19 11s. 9d. The following were elected as officers for the coming season: Mr. J. E. Whiting J.P. (president) Mr. L. Robinson (hon. secretary), Mr. H. Bridge (hon treasurer), Messrs. J. Gray, J. Belton and L. Belton, committee), Mr. E. Bates (captain), and Mr. F. Bavington (vice-captain). Thanks were expressed to Mr. A. J. Cowley, who has held the post of hon. secretary for nearly 20 years.
