365 runs at Castlethorpe

Silverstone’s pitch was unplayable on Sunday so their game was switched to the North Bucks village’s ground. And it has been many a long day since over 350 runs were scored in a match there.
Silverstone declared at 212 with P. Smith making 98 and R. Hayle 60. Castlethorpe made a steady reply with David Spinnelli, T. Barnes senior and J. Pittam. But Spencer got among the wickets and the game ended in a draw with Castlethorpe 153 for 7.
