CASTLETHORPE

When R. Belton, last man in for Castlethorpe, came to the wicket on Saturday his side were still short of New Bradwell’s total of 45 runs. Castlethorpe had fared badly on their own pitch against the bowling of L. Crisp (seven for 16), but their last pair managed to secure a one-run win in an exciting finish.
