We had a very good turnout of cubs and this meant we could field a competitor in each event in both age groups. Nine Packs took part and with our cubs giving their all in the events we steadily built up a good total of points. The weather was warm and with vocal support from Parents the afternoon was set for a splendid effort from the Pack to try and retain the Sports Shield for a 4th year.
After individual cub scouts had received their certificates, Mr. D. Scott (District Commissioner) announced that 1st Hanslope had won with 68 points so making it a successful fourth year for all the Pack.
