CASTLETHORPE v. FENNY STRATFORD
WESLEYANS.

On Saturday last Castlethorpe suffered, their first defeat of the season when playing at Fenny Stratford, the result being two goals nil. Ill-luck seemed to attend the efforts of the Castlethorpe men all through the game, time after time the ball hit the post, but they could not get it through, but there are reasonable excuses for the defeat, one being both teams playing in the same colour, which caused many mistakes. The goals that were scored were done so by the Castlethorpe men, and the ground was absolutely unfit for playing football on. When these teams meet at Castlethorpe for the return match the result will undoubtedly be visa-versa. Next week Castlethorpe play Gayhurst.
