Miss Thompson a District Teacher came to Castlethorpe school to help Miss Buxton teach country dancing. The Country Dance Festival was held every year in Wolverton Park. Each groups along with any followers had a section of the field which they danced in. As the dances changed so did the pupils, who performed the dance their group had learnt. The last dance of the feastival was always the Circassian Circle.
