Jan 9th	Re-opened school this morning. Only 50% present owing to an epidemic of mumps.
Jan 16th	I have received permission from the Secretary to omit this week's attendances, as it was only 52.8%.
Jan 30th	Mrs Allen visited school this afternoon and signed the registers.
Feb 9th	Mrs Allen visited school this morning.
Feb 14th	Mrs Allen visited school this afternoon.
Feb 16th	The Doctor visited school this morning for a routine examination of Group B children.
Feb 21st	Half-holiday today. Shrove Tuesday.
Feb 24th	Preliminary Qualifying Test for Secondary School Entrance Examination held this morning.
Mar 31st	Secondary School Examination this morning. School closed this afternoon.
April 5th	School closed this afternoon for Easter holidays.
April 18th	School re-opened this morning. Miss Wood saw the Physical Training and Country Dancing this morning.
April 24th	Mrs Allen visited school this afternoon and signed the registers.
April 27th	Miss Neale visited school this morning and saw the needlework and handwork.
May 11th	Miss Eakins was absent today through illness, so the Infants and Std.1 worked in the large room with me.
May 13th	Miss Eakins returned to school this morning.
May 16th	Nurse visited school this morning and examined all the children.
May 22nd	Mrs Allen visited school and accompanied us to the garden to see the children at work there.
May 25th	School closed this afternoon for School Sports.
May 29th	School closed today for Whit Monday.
June 1st	The Dentist visited school today for routine inspection.
June 5th	School closed today in order that the Juniors could visit the Zoo. Report on Needlework from the County Organiser. Visited April 26th 1939 In both groups the work is carefully planned, taught and supervised. The children are enthusiastic and thoroughly interested in all that has to be done, while their attainments are very good.
June 12th	The children taking part in the Physical Training Demonstration attended Wolverton this afternoon for a rehearsal.
June 14th	School closed this afternoon for the Physical Training Display.
Jun 30th	School closed today for one week's holiday
July 10th	School reopened this morning.
July 11th	The Dentist visited school today and 13 children received treatment.
July 12th	Mrs Allen visited school this morning and signed the registers.
July 14th	The Doctor visited school this morning for routine inspection.
July 20th	The Dentist visited school this morning to complete treatment Mrs Allen visited school this morning.
July 21st	Mr Richardson visited school this afternoon and signed the registers.
Aug 3rd	School closed today for midsummer holidays.
Sept 4th	School closed until further notice owing to outbreak of war.
Sept 12th	School re-opened this morning. 39 children evacuated from Leopold Road School Willesden, are working in the spare rooms with Miss Downey and Mrs Cooper. The Senior children from Wolverton are also working in this school.
Sept 15th	Nurse visited school this morning and examined all the children. Mr Richardson visited school this afternoon.
Sept 29th	Miss Neale, Miss Jackson and Miss Wood paid a short visit to school this afternoon.
Oct 2nd	Mrs Allen visited school this morning.
Oct 3rd	The Senior children returned to Wolverton Senior School this morning.
Oct 4th	Col. Williams visited school this morning.
Oct 17th	Miss Eakins was absent today through illness. Std 1 worked in the large room with me, and Mrs Cooper taught the Infants.
Oct 19th	Miss Eakins returned this morning.
Oct 31st	Mrs Allen visited school today and signed the registers.
Nov 2nd	School closed today for mid-term holiday (Friday November 3rd ).
Nov 9th	The Doctor visited school this morning.
Nov 20th	School closes at 3.30pm each day.
Dec 13th	I was absent today on Christmas leave. The Infants moved into the large room and Miss Eakins took charge.
Dec 18th	Miss Eakins was absent today on Christmas leave.
Dec 22nd	School closed today for one weeks holiday.
