Jan 7th School re-opened this morning.
   
Jan 16th I have been authorised by the Secretary to omit meetings and attendances for the week ending Jan 10th 1941 for the purpose of attendance returns. The weekly percentage was 58.5% owing to chicken-pox and whooping cough
   
Jan 21st I have been authorised by the Secretary to omit meetings and attendances for the week ending Jan 17th. The percentage of attendances was 57.7% owing to chickenpox and whooping cough.
   
Jan 31st Registers were not marked this afternoon as the Air Raid Warning lasted from 12.55 p.m. to 3.35 p.m.
   
Feb 6th The Practice Test for the Scholarship Examination was given this morning.
   
Feb 7th Miss Plomer absent today through illness.

April 1st Dr. Cooper visited school this afternoon for Diphtheria Immunisation. 65 children received treatment.
   
April 4th School closed today for Easter holiday.
   
April 22nd School re-opened this morning.
   
April 29th Dr. Cooper visited school this afternoon for the second diphtheria immunisation.
Nurse visited school and examined all the children.
   
May 5th Now that the extra hour of summertime is in operation the morning session is from 9.30am to 12.30pm, and the afternoon session 2 - 4.30pm.

July 4th I was absent from school this afternoon owing to the illness of my mother. Miss Pariss visited school this afternoon and saw the needlework and handwork.
   
July 16th The Secretary has granted me one week's leave of absence.
   
July 17th Joy Hall has been successful in gaining a scholarship to attend Wolverton Secondary School.
   
July 31st School closed today for Midsummer holiday.
