Jan 7th School re-opened this morning.
   
Jan 8th A meeting of the recently formed Canteen Committee was held at school this afternoon. Dr. Williams, Mr Bull and Mr Manning were present and the Managers were represented by Mrs Cook and Mr Gobbey.
After the business of the meeting was concluded Mrs Cook and Mr Gobbey signed the registers.
As we now have a School Wireless Set the timetable will be adjusted to include the Lessons for the Schools which are suitable to the age of the children. On Friday mornings we shall take part in the Service for Schools.
   
Jan 19th The School Canteen opened today. 23 children had dinner at school.
   
Jan 23rd The Preliminary Qualifying Test for Grammar Schools Entrance Examination was held this morning. School closed this afternoon.
   
Feb 3rd Col. Williams visited school during the dinner hour.
   
Feb 6th Miss Parfitt H.M.I. visited school today.
   
Feb 10th Mrs Cook visited school this afternoon.
   
Feb 12th Nurse Line visited school and examined the children reporting everyone clean.
   
Feb 16th Mrs Cook and Mr Gobbey visited the Canteen today and had dinner with the children.
   
Feb 18th The Doctor visited school today for routine inspection.
   
Feb 19th School closed today for half-term holiday.
   
Feb 24th School re-opened today.
Dr. Bailey visited school this afternoon for further immunisation for diphtheria of children first immunised four or more years ago. 27 children received treatment.
   
Mar 3rd This afternoon the Junior Class were taken to Hanslope School to see plays given there by the Amersham Playhouse Mobile Unit.
   
Mar 5th Secondary Grammar Schools Entrance Examination was held today.
   
Mar 10th This afternoon the children enjoyed some educational films shown to them at school.
   
Mar 22nd Today Miss Nicholls and Miss Coggins from Bletchley Park Training College spent the day here as they will be coming early next term for a month's School Practice.
   
Mar 23rd School closed today for Easter holidays.
   
April 13th School re-opened today.
   
April 14th Miss Nicholls and Miss Coggins commenced a month's School Practice.
   
April 26th Half holiday today for the Silver Wedding of the King and Queen.
   
April 26th Nurse Line visited school this morning and reported everyone clean.
   
May 6th Miss Parfitt H.M.I. visited school this morning.
   
May 7th Miss Nicholls and Miss Coggin completed their school practice here today.
   
May 12th School closed today for Whitsun holiday.
   
May 24th School re-opened this morning.
   
June 7th School closed today. The Junior class paid a visit to the London Zoo.
   
June 9th Mrs Cook visited school this afternoon and signed the registers.
   
June 10th David Hart has qualified for admission to the Wolverton Grammar School.
   
June 16th The Dentist visited school this afternoon for inspection.
   
June 17th School closed this afternoon in order that the children could take part in the Country Dancing Festival at Newport Pagnell.

July 2nd The School Doctor visited school this morning for routine inspection.
School closed this afternoon and the children, accompanied by Mrs Cook, Chairman of the Managers, spent the afternoon in Abington Park Northampton.
   
July 6th The School Dentist commenced treatment at School this morning.
   
July 7th Half-holiday today for the children to take part in the Primary School Sports held in Wolverton Park
   
July 8th Yesterday afternoon we won the Sports Trophy awarded in the Small Country Schools Group. Mr Gobbey and Mrs Cook visited school today and had dinner with the children.
In the afternoon the children rehearsed their dances for the Folk Dancing Festival to be held in Wolverton Park on Saturday. Mrs Cook and Mr Gobbey stayed to see this and many parents too, were present.
   
July 12th Miss White and Miss Wressel visited the Canteen and had dinner with the children.
   
July 15th Mr Hawes with Mr Hamilton visited school this morning.
   
July 22nd Mr Dolling visited school this morning and signed the registers. He also saw the children at Canteen Dinner.
   
July 23rd School closed today for Midsummer Holidays.
   
Aug 30th School re-opened this morning. During the holiday the outside of the school has been painted and the surface of the playground much improved with tarmac.
   
Sept 8th Mrs Hagley will be visiting us each Wednesday afternoon to provide piano accompaniment for singing and dancing. Her first visit was today. The piano has been repaired and is now in excellent condition.
   
Sept 9th I shall be absent from school tomorrow and all next week to attend a Teacher's Course at Reading University.
   
Sept 10th I Winifred May Lunn a certified mistress, took charge of the school.
   
Sept 14th Mr Swales visited this morning.
   
Sept 15th Nurse Line visited this morning and reported that everyone was clean.
Mrs Hagley visited this afternoon. Musical, appreciation, dancing, singing and rhythmic work were enjoyed by all the children.
   
Sept 20th I resumed duty this morning.
   
Oct 1st Mrs Cook and Mr Gobbey visited school this afternoon and signed the registers.
Mrs Cook presented 17 Attendance Certificates, 13 for a year's regular attendance, and 4 for two years regular attendance. N Cook

Nov 22nd Miss Gimbert and Miss Parker, students from Bletchley Park Training College, today commenced a month's school practice.
   
Dec 17th Miss Gimbert and Miss Parker completed their school practice here today.
   
Dec 21st School closed today for the Christmas holidays.
