| Jan 20th | The Practice Test for the Secondary Grammar Schools Entrance Examination was given this morning. |
| Jan 21st | The Preliminary Qualifying Examination was held this morning. School closed this afternoon. |
| Feb 3rd | Miss Corner visited school this morning and had dinner with the children. |
| Feb 7th | Miss Spalton visited school this afternoon and saw the Needlework and Handwork. N Cook |
| Feb 14th | Nurse Line visited school this afternoon and reported everyone clean. |
| Feb 15th | Mr Hawes visited school this afternoon. He left me some examination papers for the A&B Scholarship Candidates to work the next day. |
| Feb 16th | Miss Parfitt H.M.I. visited school this morning and had dinner with the children. She expressed her pleasure at the behaviour of the children at meals and also the neatness of the written work. She asked to take some exercise books with her. |
| Feb 28th | This afternoon the Junior Class were taken to Bradwell to see the plays given there by the Amersham Players. |
| Mar 4th | The Secondary Grammar Schools Entrance Examination was held today. |
| Mar 9th | A meeting of the Canteen Committee was held at school today. Mr Gobbey was present. |
| Mar 21st | Miss Parfitt H.M.I. paid a short visit to school this afternoon. |
| April 5th | Mrs Whiting visited school this morning. |
| April 6th | School closed today for Easter Holidays. |

| May 10th | Mr Hiff H.M.I. visited school this morning. He heard the children sing and then they very much enjoyed listening to the records of Prokofiev's "Peter and the Wolf" which he played for them. Miss Parfitt and Miss Tann paid a short visit to school this afternoon. |
| May 17th | Miss Dibbern and Miss Chipping from Bletchley Park Training College spent the day here as they will be coming next month for School Practice. Mrs Cook visited school this afternoon and signed the registers |
