Notes taken from Ann Robinson observations

No. 47 & 49 North St.

House and cottage (no. 45). C18 and dated 1731. Coursed rubbled stone. Plain tile roofs. 2 storeys, nos 47 & 49 with attics. No. 47 & 49. Range of 4 bays. Central and end brick stacks. Central doorway and blocked doors with keystones between bays 1 and 2 and 3 and 4.

All windows with keystones, some with foliage and bosses.

Date stone between 1st floor windows inscribed 'WK 1731' with cornice over.

The builder of this house was most probably William Kitelee

Relict of Marmaduke How by whom had no Issue.
He died April 15th 1760. in the 7[8]th Year of his age
His surviving Children. JOHN KITELEE. ELIZABETH KITLEE
