William Pike was born in Chicheley Bucks. In the 1871 census he was a farmer of 500 acres employing 16 men & 8 boys. In the 1881 census a farmer of 540 acres employing 9 Men 4 Boys. In 1891 mentioned as a farmer aged 75. William Pike was buried May 6th 1893, aged 77.

William Stevens Holt was born in Piddington Oxfordshire. In the 1901 census the farm is called College Farm, it later became known as Manor Farm.
