FUND

During the three months that Castlethorpe Village Hall has been re-formed £44 has been raised, bring the grand total in the region of £850.
At a recent meting Mr. C. Bywater (treasurer) gave a financial statement. By whist drives and a jumble sale £44 has been raised, and together with interest, the fund now stands at over £850.
It is hoped very shortly that a grant will be given by the Ministry of Education through the Bucks County Council and work will commence on alterations of the Carrington Hall. The committee are members of various organizations in the village and all are keen and energetic workers.
