John Bedo 1687

In the name of God Amen September 14th 1683 I John Bedo of Castle Thorpe in the County of Bucks haberdasher being of sound and perfect mind and memory Doe make this my last Will and Testament in manner following ffirst I bequeath my Soule to God that gave it And my body to bee decently buried at such place as it shall please God I shall happen to decease And for my Temporall estate I dispose thereof as followeth Imprimis I give and bequeath unto Mary Taplee Sarah Taplee and John Taplee being the children of my sister Mary the wife of John Taplee of Anster in the County of Warwicke the summe of fifty pounds apiece and tenn pound to the young sonne John Taplee if living and if hee bee not it is to bee divided between his two Aunts It. I give to my brother in law John Taplee aforesaid all my wearing Apparrell if living All the residue of my money except what is heresafter mentioned and bequeathed together with all my goods undisposed of I give to my loving sister Mary the wife of John Taplee aforesaid And I doe make my worthy and approved good friend Mr John Deacle of the Citty of London woollen Draper Executor of this my last Will and Testament to whom I give twenty shillings to buy him a ring making it my request to him to undertake this trouble on the behalf of these my relations allowing him all such Charges as shall bee any wayes expended for or by reason of the said undertakeing John Bedo Signed and Published in the presence of John Billinge Tho. Sams All those goods and money above mentioned if I die in Service those goods and money are to bee given as above mentioned but soe long as I live I shall keepe it for my owne use and I doe order that Thomas Spencer and John Spencer five shillings the one and two shillings six pence the other to buy them two paire of gloves
