In ye name of god Amen I ffrancis Leach alias Betts of Castle Throp in ye County of Bucks husbandman do make and ordaine this my Last Will and Testament
Imprimis I do bequeath my soul into ye hands of my Creator hopeing to be saved by faith in the merits of Jesus Christ my Redeemer and my body to be burjed according to ye discretjon of my christjan friends and Executors
Item I do appoint my dear and loveing Wife Elizab Leach and my eldest Son ffrancis Leach to be my Joynt Executors
Item I do bequeath unto my youngest Son William Leach the Summe of £40 to be payd unto him att ye age of 21 years
Item I do bequeath unto my youngest daughter Alice Leach the Summe of £40 to be payd unto her att ye age of 21 years
Item I do appoint my loveing brother Richard Leach of Hanslop in ye County of Bucks and Richard Parrat ye younger of Castle Throp aforesaid to be illeg in Trustees and to receive into their hands the sayd summe of £80 in ye behalf of my children according to ye rate of 6 in ye hundred
Item I do appoint my Executors to pay the sayd summe of £80 into ye hands of the sayd Richard Parrat and Richard Leach within one year after my decease
Item I do appoint ye sayd Richard Parrat and Richard Leach to pay the use of the sayd summe of £80 to the Executors towards ye maintaining of the sayd William and Alice Leach for ye three first years after my decease
Item I do appoint Richard Parrat and Rich: Leach aforesaid to keep in their hands ye use of the sayd £80 after ye sayd terme of three years for the use of the sayd William and Alice Leach
Item I do appoint my Wife Elizab: Leach to pay £10 to William Leach and ten pounds to Alice Leach if she Will marry again
Item I do appoint that if either William or Alice Leach aforesaid do depart this life before the age of 21 years, that then the sayd summe of £40 be distributed equally among all my other children which survive or if both depart this life before ye sayd term of 21 years that then the aforesaid £80 be divided equally among my other children and their heirs which survive
Item I do bequeath to my daughter Elizab: Denton the summe of £2 to be payd within one year after my decease
Item I do bequeath unto John Denton my grandchild the summe of £1 to be payed within one year after my decease
Item I do bequeath to my two Sisters Elizab: Coy and An Windmill the summe of 5s apiece to be payd within one year after my decease
Item I do bequeath to Mary Chapman a Cow worth £4 att ye age of 18 year
Item I do bequeath unto ye poor of Castlethorpe the sum of 5s to be payd with a month after my decease according the Minister and my Executor discretion
Item I do appoint my Executors to keep my children until they come of age
Item I do bequeath to Mr. Lewis Minst 10s for a funeral sermon
