Willyam Smalewood 1617

In the name of god Amen The 7th day of March 1617 I Willyam Smalewood of Castlethroppe in the county of Bucks beinge sicke of bodie, but whole in minde, doe make this my laste will and testament in manner & forme followinge; ffirst I give & bequeath my soule into the hands of allmightie gos, my maker, my saviour & redeemer and my bodie to be buried in the churchyard of castlethropp aforesaide item I give to my daughter Elizabeth Smalewood iiijl [£4] of good & lawfull mony of England, to be paide her fower yeares after my decease, & to be put forth for the best profit for her until she come to the age of twenty and one yeares. Item I give unto my brother Thomas Smalewood xijd [12d] Item give to my sister Mary Smalewood iiijs [4s] all the rest of my goodes & chattels & householde stuffe whatsoever I give unto Joane my wife whom I make my whole executor of this my laste will & testament moreover I make and ordaine Robert Sibthorpe Alies Butcher & Tobyas Nicholls my overseers, of this my laste will and testament, givinge them for their paines xijd [12d] a peece (witnesses Tobias Nicholls Willyam Walle)
