Thomas Trulove 1783

In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Trulove of Castlethorp in the County of Bucks Victualler being of perfect mind and memory through the mercy of God Do make and ordain this my late Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) First and Principally I commend my soul unto the hands of Almighty God my Creator hopefully through the merits of Jesus Christ to obtain pardon and remission of all my Sins, and to Inherit everlasting life And my body I commit to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named I Give and bequeath to my Daughter Katherine Goff of Hanslop in the said County of Bucks forty Pounds of good and lawful money of Great Britain I Also give to my son Thomas Trulove twenty four Pounds that is a Mortgage of a House Also I give to my well beloved daughter Martha Trulove all my Household goods Beer brewing Utensils together with all Bill Bonds of what nature or kind soever or wheresoever for her own proper use and behoof And Lastly I likewise constitute nominate and appoint my beloved daughter Martha aforesaid my Soul Executrix of this my last Will and Testament And I do hereby utterly disallow, revoke, and disannul all and every other former Testaments, Wills Legacies and Bequests and Executors by me in any ways before named willed and bequeathed ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Eighteenth day of April in the Year of our Lord 1782 Thos. Trulove Signed, sealed, published pronounced and declared by the said Thomas Trulove as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us the Subscribed, as Witnesses Thomas Paxton John Trulove Anne Martin

Proved the 17th day of November 1783 before the Reverend Luke Heslop BD.[D.D.?] Archdeacon and Commissary etc. by the Oath of Martha the Wife of Mark Denton the Sole Executrix to whom Administration was Committed she first being sworn duly to administer
