William Willcoxs 1692

In the Name of God Amen The Nyneth day of July 1691 According to the Computation of the Church of England I William Willcoxs of Castle Thropp in the County of Bucks Labourer being of perfect Memory and Remembrance praysed be God doe make and Ordaine this my Last Will and Testament in manner and fform following viz: ffirst I bequeath my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my maker hopeing that through the Meritorious Death and passion of Jesus Christ my only Saviour and Redeemer to Receive free pardon and forgiveness of all my sins, and as for my Body to be Buryed in Christian Buryall at the discretion of my Executor hereafter Nominated Item I give unto John Willcoxs my Sonn the Sume of one Shilling Item I give unto my Sonn Anthony the Sume of one Shilling Item I give unto John Rattliefe my Wearing Apparel Item all the Rest of my houses Leases Lands Tenements and Goods whatsoever and Tenn pounds that is in the hands of my brother John Kitelee of Ravenstone and ffour pounds Tenn shillings and Six pence in my sonn John Willcoxs hand and on pound in the hand of Thomas Nicholes and a Bond of Tenn pounds of Henry Smith and a Bond of ffive pounds of Benjamin Winkles I give unto John Hull my sonn in Law for Terme of his Life and his heires forever upon Condition that he shall Lay out for my Buryall the Some of two pounds and that he shall pay all my debts and Legacys and make him Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament Revoakeing all other Wills and Testaments In Wittness whereof I have hereunto put my hand and Seale the day and year first above Written the marke of William Willcoxs Sealed and delivered in the presence of William Earle William Kitley John Parr[at]
