The centre property is "The Mounts" in the High Street as viewed from the field next to the Church, to the right is the Post Office. The view today is virtually the same as 100 years ago except that the triangular island at the junction of Church Lane and the High Street is no longer there. During the mid 1800's the living room of this house was used as a Mormon recruiting centre.
