Hi
Could anybody check a churchyard inscription against a burial date please.

Emma Robins (nee Woodland) :- date of death on headstone :- 5th March 1925.
burial date in register :- 9th May 1925.

Which month is correct.

We have checked the register and the date of 9 May 1925 is definitely correct.

We have searched the church yard, and have been unable to find the grave.

So we must presume that the month in the transcription of the gravestone was wrong, and it should have read 5 May 1925.
