i notice that there are connections between the brittains (spelled variously) kitelees, keelings, mannings and perhaps saxby and the vicar schadrach garmston but i can't get the lines clear in my head. can anyone help?

the spelling variations are enough to drive one up a tree. i keep seeing lucy brittain and joseph brittain in my head! also, is it possible to connect all the brittains or are they a loose assortment of unrelated families whose similar names have con- and diverged over the years?
