In order to make a post on this forum, you must first register as a member.
To register as a member please send an email to:
hdhs@btconnect.com stating the user name you wish to use on the form. You will then be registered as a member, and should receive an email confirming registration and providing a password. You can then log on with your proposed user name and the password provided.
This cumbersome procedure has been adopted because of the large number of unwelcome posts under the previous arrangements when new members could register themselves.
Sorry for all this inconvenience. It is a last try to keep the forum going. If this fails, the forum will be closed.
Note added 22/12/2011: There are still occasional unwelcome posts. These are getting through because there are many users who registered before the new procedure was set up, some of whom occasionally return to add a new message. Whenever the new message is clearly inappropriate, the user is being banned and will not be able to send any more meassages. But unfortunately there is no easy was of banning these unwelcome users before they send a message.
