In the Name of God Amen I John Ellis of little Linford in the County of Bucks being sick in body but of perfect sence and memory doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and fforme following Imprimis I give and bequeath my Soule into the hands of God my maker trusting in the alone merits and Sattisfacton of Jesus Christ my Redeamer for the free pardon and forgiveness of all my sins and my body to the Earth there to be buryed in decent manner According to the custome of the Church of England at the discretion of my Executor Item I give to my sonn William Ellis on shilling Item I give to my sonn John Ellis ffive pound Item I give to my sonn Thomas Ellis on shilling Item I give to my daughter Abigall vmuns on shilling Item I give to my daughter Elizabeth Mydewell on shilling Item I make my sonn Thomas Cox and my Daughter Mary Ellis Joynt Executors and doe give unto them all that portion of goods and Chattells that the lord hath blessed me with Equally to be devided betweene them Wittness my hand and Seale this 2 day of January 1690/1 John Ellis Witness John Marriott John Nicholls
