Hanslope Cricket Club 1946 - 2006 |

Hanslope Cricket Club was formed in the autumn of 1945 and has just completed its 61st season. A celebratory dinner was held in November 2006, attended by about 75 members, ex-members and their partners. Each was given a booklet detailing the club’s history over the previous years. This booklet is reproduced here for all those interested to delve into. If there are any other ex-members reading this, who have photos, newspaper reports from the past sixty plus years of village cricket, they would be welcomed into the club’s archive. In particular I would like to thank Bob Baird and Fred Brown, whose enthusiasm and factual memories, as well as their invaluable collection of fixture cards and other artefacts, have been invaluable.
