Item Description
1599 Terrier A terrier is a list of land holdings.  This list comes from the archives of the Corporation of Lincoln and list the Glebe lands which were owned by the Corporation.  The Glebe lands formerly provided the income of the rector.
1779 Map A map prepared for Edward Watts.  It shows the owners of all land in the parish of Hanslope.  The map shows each house and names each field.  A table in the map contains the names of all owners of land and property in the parish.
1779 Map Owner Index A table from the above map contains the names of all owners of land and property in the parish.
1779 Survey A survey prepared for Edward Watts which documents each of his tenants and the houses and land each rented.  For each farmer, there is a map of the fields rented.  There is also a map of properties in the village centre.
1779 Village Centre This is a larger scale view of the centre of Hanslope taken from the map above.
At present it does not provide any links to pages on specific properties.
1818 Map A map prepared for Edward Watts of the whole parish of Hanslope.  Each field and every building are numbered, and the survey document below provides a key to identifying tenants (of Edward Watts), or owners (of all other buildings and land in the parish).  The quality of the image of this map is not good, but it is included as the best available at present.  For many areas better images are provided by the section maps in the survey below.  The next item provides a larger scale image of the centre of Hanslope village.
1818 Village Centre This is a larger scale view of the centre of Hanslope taken from the map above.  It is possible to identify each property, and from the information provided in the survey below, links have been constructed to further information about each property and about the owner or tenant.
1818 Survey A survey prepared for Edward Watts which records each tenant and the property he rented as well as the owners of all other land and buildings.  Maps are included for land and buildings owned by Edward Watts.  This document is a companion to the map above.
1828 Map A map prepared for Edward Watts. (not yet available)
1828 Village Centre Larger scale map of village centre. This map has been well used and some areas are in poor condition.  Also, the accompanying survey seems to have been lost, so there is no ability to look-up owners and tenants.
1900 Map This map provides links to available information about each building in the centre of the village, and links to persons associated with each building, where known.
1910 Inland Revenue Survey This survey was to provide valuations of all properties, but also recorded the owner and the tenant.  In addition, it included Ordnance Survey maps which show the location of each property.  The amps are not yet available, although it is hoped to add them in due course.  The delay is in obtaining images of sufficiently good quality.
