Horseshoe Cottage is one of the prettiest features of the village, with its thatched roof and its gentle curve. If you look closely you can see that it used to be several cottages which have been converted into just one dwelling.

Just a bit further into the Market Square, still on the right, is a large flat stone in front of the bus shelter. This covers a very large well which used to serve the nearby inhabitants.
The trail continues up Gold Street, past the right-hand edge of Horseshoe Cottage.
