The transcription of Church Records now goes back to 1571, and a start has been made on the inclusion of transcriptions of Wills made by Hanslope residents. The database now has over 52,000 entries, and all available on-line.

- 13.07.2005 - Milton Keynes Family History Library updates its list of the parish data it holds which is available for researchers. The new list has a greatly increased coverage of towns, villages and years.
- May 2005 - This month the site records its one millionth visitor since site launch in June 2000. The Association would like to thank all the visitors who have been and returned, all those who liked the site enough to bookmark it, and all those who have taken time to e-mail the Association and its members with appreciation and additional information. This coming year will see a major expansion of the site as new Heritage Lottery Funding enables new groups to develop new sites and older members to have extra training and add new features.

- 31.03.2005 - Towcester & District Historical Society have made additions and adjustments to their site. The 2005/2006 programme of lectures is now online. An image of a clock by Walter Prestidge has been added to the image of the clock by Daniel Prestidge from this Towcester clock-making family. Other additions are the names of 3 Towcester people who emigrated to the USA. One was a founder of the city of Hartford, Connecticut. One was a founder of Harvard University. And one was a founder of the Yosemite National Park. The links page has been reworked, and there is now a Towcester geocache (mixture of heritage quiz and orienteering with GPS). - 24.02.2005 - Hanslope & District Historical Society publish another major upgrade to their Family History section, with an improved Master Search, Marriage certificate details now extended back to 1773, and new sections on Baptisms: 1733 to 1751 and 1893 to 1928. Work has also started on adding information on Burials. Periods so far recorded are: 1733 to 1749; and 1878 to 1963. A facility is now available to add data from any source, including research done by family members. This might include, for instance, information on marriages which take place in another village; or information on subsequent events in the lives of residents after they move out of the village.

- 01.11.2004 - Major new local and family history resource available on CD from Grafton Regis Millennium Committee. Four years' worth of research into Grafton Regis and over 24 villages in the South Northants/North Bucks area.
- 28.10.04 - Deanshanger Village Heritage Society has updated its site with pictures of the 2004 Deanshanger Feast, and event which was resurrected by the Heritage Society for the millennium year, and has now been running for 5 years. Local information indicates that the Village Feast died out in the 1930's and was held on the 2nd weekend of October. Anecdotal evidence suggests it coincided with the Buckingham Town Fayre, a Royal Charter Fayre which still survives today.
- 24.10.04 - Sherington Historical Society updates its census information. The previous 'head-of-household' list for 1871 and 1891 has been replaced by a full transcription including all family members, ages, occupations, place of birth. Four other years currently available have also been added: 1851, 1861, 1881 and 1901 with similar details.
- 12.10.04 - MKHA has been successful in its bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund for support in extending this site to other community and heritage groups in the Milton Keynes area, including North Bucks, West Bedfordshire and South Northants. - 19.08.2004 - The Google Site Search facility has been removed at the request of the Gridwatch Team at the National Grid for Learning. Since Google has started to carry sponsored adverts related to site search terms, and Google will not allow the free search to be limited to the site only, the site search facility could generate unsuitable material if visitors used it to search the Web for adult-related material. Other options for using an advert-free site search are being investigated.
