Notes: 1. The register is not quite complete, that is, the 'qualification' (or last three) columns in each table remain blank at this stage. If sufficient interest is generated in terms of page views, then the 'qualification' columns will be completed in due course. Moreover, the final page of the Register is missing. Consequently, some names beginning with the letter 'W' and those beginning with the letter 'Y' are absent. These names, possibly totalling around sixteen, will be added as soon as they are located. 2. In 1936, electors were required to attain the age of 21 years to qualify. 3. The 1936 register does contain a few errors. Wherever possible, errors obvious to the transcribers have been corrected, but doubtless a few remain. |
