The following data has now been incorporated into the ODHS Search Facility for Olney:

  • 1851 Census
  • 1891 Census
  • 1936 Register of Electors
  • 1945 Register of Electors
  • 1951 Register of Electors
  • 1910 IR Land Valuation Survey
  • Images (2012) of Olney Properties existing in 1910

(For the 1891 Census, the 1910 Land Valuation Survey and the 1951 Register of Electors, the data is in the course of being supplemented by a (2012) photograph of the building in which the household resided.)

These data items,excluding images, already total over 11,000 data entries, so why not give it a try?

It is planned to include additional Olney data on this database (when resources permit!). It would certainly assist the Society to set priorities if site visitors would indicate their preferences for information. Please contact us at information@olneyhistory.org.uk with your views. Requests have been received to upload the 1911 Census for Olney. This is a priority task and a start has now been made.
