range available in 'The Cell' shop.
A wide range of pamphlets for visitors and tourists, together with a booking
service for National Express and other travel and accommodation services
are available in the Tourist Information Centre at the opposite end of the

Remember that folk club you used
to go to (maybe still do)? We now have a range of traditional folk CDs, including
the 2006 reissue of the Albion Band/Keith Dewhurst folk music recording at
the National Theatre production of Flora Thompson's 'Lark Rise
to Candleford' in 1979. Recreate those memories of the unique folk music
of our English countryside, heritage, mores and legends, with one of these
modern CDs.

Two new teaching aids for students and schools,
in loose-leaf format, on 'Victorian Buckingham' by Trust Chairman
Pat Brook and 'Roman Buckingham' by Shelagh Lewis
The shop is permanently staffed, 10am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday, by volunteers
from the 'Friends of the Old Gaol Museum of Buckingham'. New volunteers
