A member of the 1st Old Stratford Girl’s Brigade, Susan Hall, received the highest Junior Badge at the annual Open Evening.
The badge, awarded for work during company meetings, is the first awarded to the Old Stratford company. It takes three years to qualify.
Main purpose of the evening was to dedicate the new company colours which were bought from proceeds of a “Hush-In” last March. The dedication service was conducted by District Chaplain the Rev. P. Innes of Bletchley.
Those who earned 100 per cent attendance awards were: Susan Smith, Carol Smith, Sharon Hall, Helen Collins, Anita Davis, Elizabeth Garner, Karen Garner and Fancesca Pyne.
Other members of the company renewed their Brigade promise and a number of new members were enrolled.
