Remarks

Notes:-

Joseph Saunders spent three years in the Metropolitan Police leaving on the 16th December 1856. His trade prior to that was described as a Labourer. He was sworn in the Buckinghamshire Constabulary on the 29th April 1857, he was 24 years old and married.

He was described as follows:- 5ft 8 ¼ in tall of stout build with brown hair and dark eyes.

Police Constable 39 Joseph Saunders is reduced to the rank of 3rd Class Constable for general neglect of duty and inefficiency as a Police Officer within his beat.
