Remarks
Stanley Stevens was 23 years old when he joined the Bucks Constabulary 5ft. 10 ¾ in tall with hazel eyes and brown hair he was of proportionate build married with no children. Born in Aylesbury He was a Bakers Roundsman. He lived at Bierton Road Post Office, Aylesbury.

He served for 3 years and 10 months in the Army first in the Service Corps and then in the Machine4 Gun Corps (transferring on the 19th May 1917). On the 2nd August he landed in France. He left the Army on the 23rd May 1919.

He lived at 25 Thompson St. while stationed at Bradwell. After retirement he moved to Bradwell Road, Bradwell. He then moved to the Isle of White – ‘Elstan’ Pellhurst Rd., Ryde. It is believe he died only a short time after his move to the Isle of White around 1958. His wife Clementina returned to Bucks living at 13 Church Road Sherington (this has yet to be confirmed).

Police Constable 45 Stanley Stevens having completed the required period of approved service has given notice of his desire to retire on the 16th June 1945. Consent to retire having been withheld his pension is guaranteed in accordance with the above, based upon the annual rate of pensionable pay given - £320.18.0.
