The Clerk of the Standing Joint Committee has received a letter from the Secretary of State dated 25th April 1892 wherein he sanctioned the proposal of the Standing Joint Committee that Police Constables 66 Thomas M. Woodford and 19 George Winterburn (late Constables of the Buckingham Borough Police Force) should be treated as having served 8 years in the Merit Class of the County Police Force, and receive pay at the rate of 28/- per week. In accordance with the above the pay of these Constables will be raised to 28/- per week from the 25th instant inclusive.

Merit Class Constable 66 Thomas Woodford having this day been granted a pension of £49.11.4, by the Standing Joint Committee, to take effect on the 18th instant, will be struck off the Strength of the Force from that date inclusive.
