4. Ram Alley, 1982


At the turn of the twentieth century, Ram Alley consisted of five thatched cottages. Over the years they fell into disrepair and only one now remains - the one seen here on the left. The centre one in the picture above was demolished and turned into a "folly garden". It was subsequently donated to The Folly Society, which maintains it.
