Stoke Goldington Millennium Wall Hanging

Hanging

Getting it ready

Although we could have gone on for ever adding hedges, flowers, animals in the fields etc, we had to allow time for the backing and interlining to be attached by Jenny Trett before it was hung in the Stoke Goldington Village Hall in time for the unveiling on Saturday, 18 May 2002.

The top and sides have Velcro to attach them to the frame.

A list of all who had worked on the wall hanging was written on calico and mounted on the black backing fabric (shown here being cut to size).
