Minutes of the Meeting of the Parish Council held on Monday 8th January at 7.30pm in the Reading Room.
Present: Cllr Warren (Chair), Cllr Trett, Cllr Joy.
1. Apologies: Cllr Boustred, Cllr Freeman, Cllr Pat Seymour (Milton Keynes Council).
2. Declarations of Members Interests: There were no declarations.
3. Residents Items:
Drains: Although reported in last months minutes that the drains had not been jetted, it appears that some had been done. It is still not certain whether the ones of the High Street at the north of the village have yet been cleaned.
Dag Lane: This has not had a mechanical sweep for a very long time. The resurfacing of the path has not been completed although MKC had promised it would be done in May of last year.
Area in front of the Hollow Tree: Resident asked who owned this land. Cllr Warren advised that this was common land.
Guntrip Fund: Questions from residents regarding payments from the fund. The Trustees will be holding a special meeting at the end of the month, where any queries will be explained. Residents present gave their thanks to the Trustees.
Motor Bikes: Youths on bikes are still causing a problem. Residents advised to report all incidents to the police.
4. Minutes of Last Meeting: It was proposed by Cllr Trett and seconded by Cllr Joy that the minutes of the meeting held on 11th December 2006, signed as a true record.
5. Matters Arising from Previous Minutes:
Stoke to Gayhurst Footpath: MKC have advised (via Pat Seymour), that the path will be sided out during the winter maintenance period.
Fire Extinguisher: This will be delivered tomorrow.
6. Finance & Current Balances:
a) Balances: The balances to date were circulated and signed as a true record. Total in bank as of today £8,832.63.

8. GATE Group News-Draft Constitution: There will be a meeting on 19th February (7.30pm in the Reading Room) to discuss the proposals in the draft constitution. Cllr Warren will attend on behalf of the Parish Council.
9. Sub-Committee Reports:
a) Thames Valley Police/Road Safety: Latest SID data available from Milton Keynes Council. The Police Liaison Meeting scheduled for 11th January has been cancelled.
b) Guntrip Fund: The cheques have been signed and will be distributed shortly.
c) Village Hall: The Senior Citizens dinner will take place next month.
d) Reading Room: The shed key has been removed from the Reading Room.
e) Recreation Ground/Highways: There is still a problem with the locking of the barrier in the evenings.
f) Dog Fouling: No problems at the moment.

12. Councillors' Items: There were no Councilors items.
