8.Sub-Committee Reports:

a) Thames Valley Police/Road Safety:
There had been a recent police meeting where the crime figures for April to September 2006 showed a 42% increase with 27 reported crimes. Figures in other villages show a similar trend.

b) Guntrip Fund: The trustees had met recently, it appears that the fund may shortly have to justify its charitable status.

c) Reading Room: New doors have been fitted and a mat purchased for the corridor.

d) Village Hall: The Annual General Meeting had been held recently. About £20,000 has been spent in the last year on hall and sports facilities.

e) Recreation Ground/Highways: A price had been obtained for new goal posts and nets, this is £618.50 plus installation (approx £120). It was proposed by Cllr Trett and seconded by Cllr Boustred that these be purchased with money reserved for play equipment.

f) Dog Fouling: No reported problems at the moment.

9. Correspondence in File:

Environment Act Protocol: To seek clarification from Milton Keynes Council as to whether they require this to be signed, as most of it appears to apply to those councils wishing to do their own enforcement.

10. Councillors' Items: No items for discussion.

11. Next Meeting: The next meeting will be held on Monday 16th April (due to the next normal meeting date falling on Easter Monday) 2007, 7.30pm in the Reading Room.

The Meeting closed at 8.35pm
