Chancel
The chancel has a six-bayed roof of seven carved black oak trusses dating from 1640, incorporating Renaissance-style infill panels, strapwork decoration and a large pendant from beneath the centre of each truss. Two of the trusses re-use medieval traceried panels intended for a roof of slightly shallower pitch - probably that replaced by the present roof.
A decorative feature on the floor are the encaustic tiles in the style of A W N Pugin, possibly manufactured at the Minton factory which were laid in the church in 1872.
