There is only one tile of this type. 113 x 110/112 x 24 mm thick. Edges knife cut at slight angle, with some adhering kiln waste. The stamped pattern consists of a flower at the corners within a cog-wheel, set in circles which do not actually touch, and in the centre of the tile a well-formed fleur-de-lys. Glaze as type 1, rather better preserved on this one surviving tile, with accidental splashing on the back. This design does not occur at Brickhill.
